Please reblog this if you know someone who has been eaten by Reavers and is now the hood ornament of a Reaver ship. About 85% of people will not reblog this because they have no idea what a Reaver is; about 10% will start speaking Chinese, or say something profound like, “I swear by my pretty floral bonnet, I will end you”, and about 5% will start singing “The Hero of Canton”.

redcloud: A few will just whisper, “Miranda”. Best to leave those ones alone, and quickly.

and if you’re lucky, they’ll do it in that order

Blue Sun Cigars by ~emptysamurai

I like to think Jayne smokes this brand…. Inspired by another box of cigars I saw elsewhere. tax stamp and seal inspired by real world ones. but still scratch built. glue em to a wooden cigar box and have at em!

The mandarin text is a poem about cigars which coined the mandarin word for cigar.

The Women of Firefly Art Nouveau Posters By Megan Lara

from I’d Rather Be Killing Monsters

Perhaps it’s just me - but River Tam’s training programme as revealed in Serenity doesn’t make a hell of a lot of sense. Why exactly would you give advanced combat training to a psychic? How does a psychic kill people when she can sense their feelings and last thoughts etc.? But most importantly of all - who thinks that someone who has been rendered insane and unable to control her emotions as a result of their brain “stripping” is an ideal subject for military combat training?
