Wolf-In-Sheep’s-Clothing, AD&D Monster Manual II, TSR, 1983.
It has 9 HD, hits and grabs with 1-3 root-like tentacles and bites for 7-12 damage, and yes the bunny is part of the monster.
Orcs attack, by Flint Henry, from the Cloudland module for AD&D, Grenadier Models Inc, 1984.
Rolling on the magical treasure tables.
Will McLean, from the AD&D Dungeon Masters Guide, TSR, 1979.
Found these books on the shelf at a thrift shop and bought them up for $1 each.

RPG of the Day: Advanced Dungeons & Dragons. This was published as a set of three rulebooks, compiled by Gary Gygax, between 1977 and 1979, The three core rulebooks are the Monster Manual (1977), the Player’s Handbook (1978), and the Dungeon Master’s Guide (1979)
Heraldry of Flanaess, from The World of Greyhawk, 1983 edition.
The World of Greyhawk boxed set deserves its own set of posts in some nebulous and imaginary future. There’s no art credit for these. They’re on the inside covers of the main booklet, where Jeff Easley gets credit for the cover and Darlene gets credit for calligraphy and graphic design.
Darlene’s wall-sized World of Greyhawk map hung on my wall for many years when I was a munchkin, and still sets the standard for fantasy world maps.
Sounds interesting. I’ve played with AD&D - but I’ve never played Spelljammer - I never cared for gnomes and what not in Outer Space.
Reality… begins with the roll of the dice.
Reading The Classics!
- Advanced D&D Players Handbook
- Advanced D&D Dungeonmasters Guide
- Advanced D&D Monster Manual
- Advanced D&D Monster Manual II: Electric Boogaloo!
- Advanced D&D Fiend Folio
This brings back some old school memories - literally. The last time I played AD&D was in high school and I ended up swapping my AD&D books for GURPs, I think.
